A TIME WHEN "AI" GASLIT ME -A 2 DAY ARGUMENT
One day, a friend of a friend suddenly got weakness in his left hand and little finger — right after a heavy alcohol binge.
On call, I took whatever history I could and told him, “Get an ECG done.”
He was stuck in a place with barely any medical facilities.
Somehow, he got it done at a small clinic… but no doctor was there to read it.
I don’t know ECG reading well enough yet.
I couldn't ask anyone
No quick contacts to help me.
So, I turned to AI.
The AI read the ECG and said — confidently — “He’s had an MI.”
Something didn’t feel right.
And here’s the wild part: when I challenged it, the bot actually edited my ECG image to match its wrong diagnosis by increasing the amplitude of the Ecg waves.
I ended up arguing with a bot for two days straight!( funny ain't it?! who argues with a Bot)
I re-uploaded the ECG multiple times, cross-checked my Gen Med notes, questioned it through different profiles… like a stubborn detective.
Finally — after all my numerous inputs— it admitted it's Misdiagnosis.
The Point here is:
To Never trust AI blindly.
It’s just a tool, not your brain.
In a remote camp with no internet, the patient’s life won’t depend on your Wi-Fi signal — it will depend on YOU.
